Who We Are
Our mission is to accelerate the translation of scientific discovery into clinical solutions that improve lives.
Professor Massoud Zolgharni, Director of THRIVE
THRIVE, the Centre for Translational Healthcare Research, Innovation, Vision, and Excellence, is a university-based initiative dedicated to accelerating the journey from scientific discovery to clinical impact. We bring together expertise in artificial intelligence, biomedical science, health systems, and patient engagement to transform how healthcare is delivered and experienced.
Vision & Mission
We aim to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world implementation by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical partnerships, and translational readiness from the outset of research programmes.
Our Values
- Impact-Driven – We prioritise real-world outcomes that improve lives.
- Collaborative – We unite diverse disciplines across academia, healthcare, and industry.
- Inclusive – We champion health equity and patient involvement in innovation.
